The first one I owned my teenage son tried using it on a limb that was too big and applied too much pressure which caused it to break. As far as I am concerned it was not the companies fault that this unit was abused. I keep it now for spare parts.



I am very impressed with the second one I bought. It has paid for it's self many times over and has never given me any problems when it is used properly.



I am disabled with arthritis. I do not like heights. This unit is very easy to use and as it stands now I should get many more years of use from mine.

I work as a professional gardener on a large estate. Between this tool and the telescoping version of the same tool, I rarely have to use a ladder any more, and my work is much safer. I use it for the climbing roses, fruit trees and to reach into tangled thickets. I've even used it to cut tired plants to the ground without bending. It cuts easily, the rotating head gets you access in tight spaces, and there's no rope to get tangled up. Their customer service has been great also if anything should go wrong.

I've been needing one of these pruning tools for some time, but had put off getting one. I read the reviews on Amazon and checked the price and decided that this is the one to buy. Yes...indeed it is!



It came so very quickly after I ordered it, in such a small package (collapsed for shipping), that I didn't recognize what it was when it when it came. I was pleased when I opened the package to realize that it was the pruning stik I had ordered and that it had arrived so quickly after I ordered it. I took it out and immediately used it. Worked like a charm! Very quickly and efficiently disposed of some low-hanging limbs over my driveway. These limbs hung low enough to hit my vehicles but were attached to the trees too high for me to get to without a pruner like this. Simple to use...easy to store...reasonable price. Folks...this one is a no-brainer!

People usually do not know this, but I am a serial killer. They think I'm a nice guy and honestly I like to keep it that way.



I bought this marvelous piece of body chopper last Winter just before I travel north on my usual killing spree. Usually I kill six or seven teenagers, campers or hitchhikers with a big knife - which gets kinda messy considering that people nowadays are getting more and more obese.



Now the first time I tried this axe, I ended up doubling my body count. It is THAT fast and easy! If you notice, the handle comes in two colors - one marking the best place to hold. I have strong hands that shake a little due to the huge amount of tranquilizers they used to give me at the Hospital, and that always made me uncomfortable around axes because I could never cut someone's head in only one stroke. Now this chopper is a delight! It is so light and precise that you throw it blindfolded and STILL hit a victim before she/he can say "yowsah, yowsah, yowsah".



And that's not all. Cleaning it is a piece on cake. I don't usually clean my accoutrement right away because I'm always busy running after that obnoxious last victim who always knocks me down and gets away. So I always end up waiting a long time in order to get my act together and get everything clean for the sequel (and that might take as long as a year!!!). But anyway, even after all that, it's all a joy.



Normal people use this beautiful "hache" to chop wood. I'm sure it does a terrific job at that too. As I always say, "if it chops Chow, it will chop chop" (laughs). Or as my colleague Jason used to say, well... he never actually said anything. But that's because he never had an axe like this. Otherwise he would say "supercalifragilisticexpialidocious" - since he is a huge Julie Andrews fan!

This Axe is the best I have ever used. It takes a bit to get use to how light the handle is, I'm use to a heavy wood handle with all my previous axes. Once you get use to the feeling it's fantastic. I'd say if you are splitting fire wood go with the Super Axe, it's the same handle but gives you an extra 2lbs on the head which will help cut through some of the hardwood easier.

Tool is ergonomic and cuts well -- to a point. I find that the two blades tend to separate somewhat making it necessary to cut multiple times even just to deadhead petunias. Am surprised that a Finnish product has this flaw. That said, the ergonomics of it make it more desirable than many other pruner's I've tried.

After reading several reviews for this, Purchasing a standard Maul and suffering the pain...



I finally purchased one a couple of days ago. in 2 days I have split up 2 cords of wood. Mostly Knotty and twisted wood. The Hard stuff to split. This thing is fantastic. it makes splitting a breeze. The head cuts deep into the wood you are splitting allowing it to easily split. I am using 1.2 the effort than with my 8lb Maul.



My 17 Year Old son jumped in and split wood for 2 hours straight.



Using this axe is truly an aerobic exercise (great for the no exercisers out there. LOL)



I watch a few YouTube Videos by a Guy (AKKAMAAN) for proper form and better use technique. this axe is all they said it is. Save your money and buy this one The rest are a joke.



Straight wood, 2 Hits and Done!!!! Smaller limbs, up to 8" = 1 hit and split... Talking about splitting Oak.



People often Say Elm is the impossible wood to split. I have split some Elm. Using the outside to inside technique, Though it is some work, I have been able to split Elm.



WOOO HOOO. This Axe makes Quick work of an otherwise tiresome task.....



This is a Must Buy. Even my 115lb-5'3" Wife has split some smaller wood with this puppy.

I've been splitting wood for 10+ years, and this is by far the best ax I've ever owned. I'm 6'2 and it took me about 2 swings to adjust to the shorter handle....I would have preferred a longer handle, but this is definitely not a show stopper. I split Elm which is known to be one of the hardest woods to split due to its stringing-ness....and this axe powers right through. My old 6 and 8 pound mauls would simply stick into the elm and would require wedge work in order to split. I am AMAZED. I love splitting wood by hand, and was even contemplating purchasing a gas splitter...not anymore with this maul. Very...very...impressed.

I have MS and sometimes my strength is really affected by heat and exertion. I love these loppers (and bought a pair for my neighbors who helped me out with a project and were very impressed with them). I had read somewhere that they are approved by the American Arthritis Association. That makes a lot of sense.



I would recommend these to anyone ... but I would especially recommend them to people like me who struggle with strength in their hands at times.

My old loppers were about 15 years old and had been sharpened repeatedly, but when the handle finally started falling apart it was time for a new one. These Fiskar's loppers are wonderful! The PowerGear makes it easy to cut branches up to 1.5" or 2" (depending on the type of wood). I didn't find that I had to open the handles any wider than on other loppers, so that isn't an issue to me.



I have a lot of landscaping and these loppers make it much easier for an early-50's woman like myself to keep my yard neat and trim.

I have a shrub-pruning business, and rely on my Felco PowerGear loppers for cuts too big for my pruning clippers and too small for a saw. These are absolutely the best loppers I know of; they cut through live or dead wood as if they were cutting through butter. Their one drawback is that I can't take them apart to clean and sharpen them, and have to do so in one somewhat unwieldy piece, taking extra care with my sharpening stone. Because they hold an edge very well, though, and are such a great cutting tool, I'm willing to put up with the inconvenience.

This container has no drainage holes for water so buyer beware. I had a similar one from Home Depot that was great. Little perforations in the bottom allow water to seep out. With all the rain we have had in the Northeast this summer this container was impossibly heavy when I tried to move it yesterday. I had to turn it on its side to drain the water. Not good!

I got a 10 gallon Kangaroo container about 4 years ago and I use it in every season-spring thru winter. I liked it so much I purchased the 30 gallon container. I use these containers for almost all my yard and garden tasks. I've used them for a whole lot more--like linning them with a plastic bag and keeping drinks iced down for our family reunion, carring my hand tools, fertilizer, etc. back and forth. I bought this product because I needed something to hold my trash bags as I filled them. It got a lot of good reviews, but is next to useless for its intended purpose. For one thing the 30 gallon size is actually 43 gallons. I did the math. A "standard" 30 gallon trash bag does not fit! The container is 9 inches bigger around than the trash bag. I looked in the stores and the average 30 gallon trash bag is 60 inches in circumference. The Friskars is 69 inches. Somewhere it was said the Friskars had holes in the bottom to let water drain. It doesn't. Using an oversized bag might work.
