Buy Low Price From Here Now The Fiskars pruning stik is a lightweight, multipurpose pruning tool with the ability to trim tree branches up to 12-feet tall without needing a ladder. The pruning stik features Fiskars' PowerStroke sliding-grip cutting action that lets you prune by simply sliding the plastic grip (or pulling the orange ball end), which engages a chain and spring that snaps the blades closed. In addition, the cutting head rotates 240 degrees to give the user the best pruning angle. The replaceable Xylan-coated blade is ultra-hardened to stay sharp all-season long, and it offers a cutting capacity of 1-1/4 inches. Weighing less than 2 pounds, the aluminum handles are durable and light, and their length allows you to reach high branches, and remove growth at ground level while standing. The pruning tool comes with a limited lifetime warranty.

"I actually own two" 2009-08-08
By thundercloud (Central Missouri)
The first one I owned my teenage son tried using it on a limb that was too big and applied too much pressure which caused it to break. As far as I am concerned it was not the companies fault that this unit was abused. I keep it now for spare parts.
I am very impressed with the second one I bought. It has paid for it's self many times over and has never given me any problems when it is used properly.
I am disabled with arthritis. I do not like heights. This unit is very easy to use and as it stands now I should get many more years of use from mine.
"Can't Work Without it" 2009-08-06

I work as a professional gardener on a large estate. Between this tool and the telescoping version of the same tool, I rarely have to use a ladder any more, and my work is much safer. I use it for the climbing roses, fruit trees and to reach into tangled thickets. I've even used it to cut tired plants to the ground without bending. It cuts easily, the rotating head gets you access in tight spaces, and there's no rope to get tangled up. Their customer service has been great also if anything should go wrong.

"plastic mounting" 2009-06-25

if you look closely to the cutter mounting, it made out of PLASTIC.
plastic can not against the tree. My stik is broken. Even it is best prunner but now useless.
"Look No Further...This is the One!" 2009-06-22
By Arnold Melton (Stone Mountain, GA, USA)
I've been needing one of these pruning tools for some time, but had put off getting one. I read the reviews on Amazon and checked the price and decided that this is the one to buy. Yes...indeed it is!
It came so very quickly after I ordered it, in such a small package (collapsed for shipping), that I didn't recognize what it was when it when it came. I was pleased when I opened the package to realize that it was the pruning stik I had ordered and that it had arrived so quickly after I ordered it. I took it out and immediately used it. Worked like a charm! Very quickly and efficiently disposed of some low-hanging limbs over my driveway. These limbs hung low enough to hit my vehicles but were attached to the trees too high for me to get to without a pruner like this. Simple to use...easy to store...reasonable price. Folks...this one is a no-brainer!
