I purchased this drill for my 6yr old son. I am familiar with the hand drills my father used and thought this would be close to the same thing. well its not! my son likes to drill holes in wood. the first hole seamed to go well. Three holes later I could hear the gears slipping. If my six year old son is wearing it out already then this thing is poorly made, in other words, Junk!

I bought this drill to replace the same kind that I've had for over 10 years that is starting to wear out. Since I could not find one in stores, I decided to try online. I was disappointed that this one though, did not come with the 4 bits as pictured with the description. It seems that if this drill is sold in two versions (with and without bits), the appropriate picture and description should accompany the particular vendor's listing so as not to confuse the buyer. Since there are no recesses for the bits, I guess I'll just have to file new grooves to store the old drill's bits with the little rubber band. Other than that, the new drill seems as sturdy and smooth operating as my old one.

I just received this drill and I see that it does not come with the 4 attachments to drill as shown in the picture. I cant use it until I get set of those, why put up a picture misleading people what attachment the product comes with ? I saw mixed reviews of some people saying it comes with the drills and 1 saying it dosen't. I find this pruner useful for getting very tall shrub rose bushes pruned. You can reach quite a ways into the bush with these pruners but make sure you wear long rose gloves so you don't get scratched. Also, remember to take frequent small breaks when doing a lot of pruning so your hands don't hurt from repetitive motions.

I was very careful in selecting a pristine pair of shears from Home Depot, and the tool worked flawlessly for several months...



Until yesterday when I was working out in my back yard, trimming back some salvia to encourage fresh growth. In mid-cut, I felt the tool jam. Examination of the blades showed that the cutting edges were deadheading against one another and had created a razor sharp burr of metal. At this point I stopped using the shears.



Fiskars needs to improve their hedge shear design to resolve this jamming issue.



If your Fiskars jam I recommend you call their warranty line at 1-800-500-4849. I did, and a new set of shears are being sent to me, free of charge. If you don't want to deal with Fiskars, and are handy with a grinder/sharpening tool, then you could try grinding out the burr yourself (or have a professional do it for you).

My only concern before purchasing this item was regarding several reviews citing the blades being easily damaged. According to most of the reviews of these posthole diggers, they are the best there is. The ad claims they are factory sharpened to make digging easy. Well, this is pretty far from the truth. The ones I received were pretty dull, the ends had about a 3mm rounded end, which didn't dig very well at all, so I sent them back. If they were as sharp as a shovel, they would probably work pretty good.

I recommend these shears. They are easy to operate, sharp and accurate. Be aware that the blades are plain steel, and they will rust if you leave wet trimmings on them. In wet conditions, I suggest oiling the blades after use; a few drops from a pump oiler and a wipe down with a paper towel is sufficient.

This is a great pair of grass shears. Its not too long so it does overexert your hand or wrist when using them. I found them extremely sturdy and have many times stabbed them into the ground when weeding as well as banging them to shake off grass clippings. The blades are sharp and seems to be self sharpening. I found them very comfortable for it's simple design. I also have the other fiskar version that has a swivel head and longer blade which cost me more, but was not at all comfortable or as versatile as this one here. I found my hand tired faster on the longer, swivel head version. So if you are looking for a basic comfortable and easy to use grass shears, this is one great pair of grass shears.

I have years of experience pruning trees and here is my assessment of the the Fiskars 15 inch replacement saw blade. Cheap product. Tooth design is supposed to eliminate binding, but in fact it only causes the blade to bind even more! This blade is also flimsy and it bent half way thru a routine pruning job. I am very dissatisfied and would not recommend this product.

If you need a replacement saw blade for your tree pruner, this is the best one ever. It has sharp, greedy teeth which is good because the sharper the blade the faster the cutting and the sooner you get to go have a beer and relax. When you get the new blade be sure not to get excited and cut too many branches from your trees while you are trying it out. Otherwise, your trees will look like my neighbor's trees which look like Q-tips. Not that there's anything wrong with Q-tips. They are great for getting nasty yellow wax out of the ear. But trees should look like trees, not Q-tips.

these are good blade made in the USA, it springs ok for it's size, could have been better if it alows to spring a little more, because it's almost always used in cutting trees at odd angles, for that particular purpose, it's somehow stiff and have to be careful when pushing it.

Nice little hatchet but it comes in a large, molded plastic snap-in case with a big carry handle on top. It would look good on the garage wall but it's too bulky to carry in a backpack. Sending it back and will look at an Estwing hatchet from Home Depot instead.
